Greg Youncofski

Greg Youncofski enters his sixth season with the University of Cincinnati men's basketball program in 2018-19. 

He was named an assistant coach for the 2018-19 season in October 2018. 

Previously, Youncofski served as the video, analytics and recruiting coordinator, overseeing team video operations, analytics and advance scouting of upcoming opponents. He also assisted the staff in organization and coordination of recruiting databases and recruiting schedules. 

He served as video coordinator at Cincinnati during the 2016-17 campaign after working as program assistant (2013-16). 

Over the past five seasons the Bearcats have compiled a 128-45 mark, won two American Athletic Conference regular-season championships, one AAC tournament title and advanced to five NCAA tournaments. 

Youncofski was named a 2017-18 Under Armour 30-under-30 honoree by the National Association of Coaches (NABC) in May 2018. The award recognizes up-and-coming young coaches in men's college basketball. He also serves as a member of the board of directors for Rising Coaches Elite, an organization that facilitates learning, growth and networking within the coaching profession. 

Youncofski earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in May 2013 while working three years as a student-manager with the Jayhawks' basketball program. He was a part of three consecutive Big XII championship teams under Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self, including the 2012 squad that finished as national runners up. While in Lawrence, he assisted with the development of NBA draft picks Marcus & Markieff Morris, Josh Selby, Thomas Robinson, Tyshawn Taylor, Ben McLemore & Jeff Withey.

Among his duties at Kansas, Youncofski supported the basketball operations director, managed all team practices and games, and assisted the coaching staff with scouting reports and basketball drills. He also created video playbooks with the team's video coordinator and organized and supported several Jayhawks basketball clinics.

Originally from Middletown, New Jersey, Youncofski played three seasons of varsity basketball at Middletown High School North (2007-09).
