Missed first three games due to preseason foot injury, then played the next 32, including starting the final 15 ... averaged 10.2 ppg, including 40.2% from beyond the arc, up from 28.0 the previous year ... that improvement marks the highest by a Bearcat since Dion Dixon (14.1) from 2009-10 to 2010-11, and he is the third Bearcat to shoot higher than 40% on 30-plus makes since 2017-18 ... also had a team-high 56 steals, including 17 over a three-game stretch between the Big 12 Tournament and Crown, the most in such a span in the nation ... his seven swipes against DePaul in the Crown ranks third in program history, and his six against OSU in Kansas City is tied for sixth, giving him two of the top-six steals games in program history ... scored in double figures 15 times, with 13 of those coming from Feb. 2 and onward after moving back into the starting lineup for good ... season-high 20 points came in road win at UCF, then upped that with 21 against Oklahoma State in a first-round Big 12 Tourney win ... also had 19 at eventual national runner-up Houston and in the finale against UCF in Las Vegas, where he was 5-for-9 from deep.
