TicketsUniversity of Cincinnati men's soccer welcomed its newest team member in April 2018 when Brycin Kidder signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Bearcats.
A 7-year-old from Middletown, Ohio, Brycin suffers from a connective tissue disease known as Ehler's Danlos Syndrome (EDS). The huge soccer fan was paired up with the Bearcats through Team IMPACT, a national organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.
Brycin has fit right in with his teammates, previously spending time with his fellow Bearcats, including the team leaders who helped organize the initiative.
Kidder and UC men's soccer will have a quick turnaround to competition on Saturday, April 7, when the team hosts Bellarmine for a 4 p.m. kickoff at Gettler Stadium. Brycin will be introduced along with his teammates, serve as the honorary team captain, and will participate in the pre-match coin toss. Admission to the spring friendly will be free of charge.
