Competed in 11 meets… Placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:05.43) against NKU… Finished with four third-place finishes this season, highlighted by performances against Kentucky in the 400-yard individual medley (4:02.37), Indiana in the 100-yard breaststroke (56.38) and 200-yard individual medley (1:55.06), and rival Xavier in the 500-yard freestyle (4:44.65).

CSCAA National Championship Qualifier… Best CSCAA Nationals finish was in the 200 Breast where he came in 18th place… Finished second at the UofL First Chance Meet in the 200 IM… Made collegiate debut in a tri-meet against Ohio State and Akron.

Swam for Colegio Positivo in Curitiba, Parana... Specialized in the 100 and 200 breaststroke as well as the 200 and 400 IM... As a junior, he earned second-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breast at the Brazilian Junior Nationals... Capped his high school career as a six-time Brazilian Junior National Champion in his senior year... Beyond high school, he competed for Clube Curitibano, where he became a nine-time Brazilian Junior Champion and placed third in the 50 and 200 breast at the South Junior American Games... He has represented Brazil on the national team in the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke.
