2020-21: Participated in two events in the AAC Championships (500 free, 100 back), finishing in the B final for both with times of 4:31.91 (500 free) and 50.11 (100 back)... finished second in the 1000 free (9:44.49) against Xavier.
Prior to UC: Dafoe swam for FSU in the AAC from 2018-2020…Had career best in the 500 free with a time of 4:28.87…was runner up in the 200 back against FAU with a time of 1:56.51…Swam a personal best in the 200 free at the Auburn Invite with a time of 1:39.81…won the 1000 free against UIW with a time of 9:46.50…In high school, Dafoe earned all-state honors as a junior and senior after earning all-region accolades for all four years…was a three-time team MVP at Cy-Fair Highschool…Holds the school record in the 500 free and the 100 fly with times of 4:29.4 and 50.03 respectively.
Personal: Born Dec. 5, 1999…son of Teisha and Derek Dafoe…was an honor graduate and student leader in addition to being a member of the National Honors Society…was a multi-sport athlete that included 12 years of hockey and seven years of soccer on top of playing tennis, squash, gymnastics and lacrosse…grandfather was the first ever NCAA Track and Field champ at Michigan State.
