2019-2020: Throughout the season Dalton had a number of dual meet wins in the 200 BR including against UIndy, IUPUI, Miami OH, Michigan State, Xavier and Northwestern. At the House of Champions Dalton posted a lifetime best in the 400 IM with a 3:56.92 to take second. At the conference championship Dalton finished in the top 8 in all three of his individual events. He took 8th in the 200 BR and 7th in both the 100 BR and 200 IM.
2018-2019: At the conference Championship Dalton took 6th place in the 200 IM, 100 BR, and 200 BR. After the conference championship he competed at the TYR Pro Series where he qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 100 BR with a time of 1:03.18.
