Competed in seven meets … Grabbed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle vs. Indiana (4:42.47) … Finished seventh vs. Miami (OH) in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.92.

Columbus native attended and competed for Dublin Jerome High School … Qualified for the state championships as a sophomore … Named to All-Ohio in the 500-yard freestyle and All-American in the 400-yard freestyle relay during his junior season … Finished third at the state championships in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle as a senior … Placed second at the state meet in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay … Swam on the Dublin Sea Dragons Club team.
