Prior to Cincinnati: Stokes spent four years at St. Francis, enjoying her most successful season as a senior when she averaged 5.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. She opened the season with double-digit points in two of the first three games of the season. Stokes scored a career-high 17 points against East Tennessee State on Nov. 21 and grabbed a season-best 10 rebounds on Wagner on Jan. 3.

During high school, Stokes led Winton Woods to the Fort Ancient Valley Conference West Division Championship as a senior. The Warriors finished with a 23-1 record and conference, sectional and city championships during Stokes’ sophomore campaign.
