TicketsUniversity of Cincinnati volleyball head coach Molly Alvey announced the hiring of Mary Kate DeWees as the program’s Director of Operations.
DeWees will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the program, including management of the program’s budget and coordination of team travel.
DeWees joined Cincinnati from Ohio University where she served as a graduate assistant. She coordinated all travel logistics, executed practice schedules and collaborated with external staff for administrative support.
During this time, she also was the head coach of Aleta Volleyball Club in Athens, Ohio.
DeWees graduated from Ohio University in 2023 with a degree in visual communications. She is currently working towards her master's degree in in recreation and sport sciences – coaching education.
While a student, she was president of Ohio’s women’s club volleyball team from 2021-2023.
