TicketsHead coach Katrina Merriweather announced the addition of former Bearcat standout Ana Owens to the Cincinnati women’s basketball staff as Director of Operations ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Owens returns to Clifton after an impressive playing career with the Bearcats from 2014-18, where she finished as one of the program’s all-time great guards. She ranks inside the top 10 in career games played, minutes played, three-pointers made, free throw percentage and assists.
In her new role, Owens will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, including team travel, budget management and scheduling.
Following her Bearcat career, she played professionally in Germany with the Chemnitz Chemcats before transitioning into a successful career in human resources and operations.
Owens is also a double alumna of the University of Cincinnati. She earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership in 2018, followed by a master’s degree in human resources management in 2021.
