Andy Frigge

Andy Frigge joined the University of Cincinnati Athletics Department in 2005 and currently serves as the athletic equipment manager. In this role, he oversees the daily operations of the Olympic sports equipment room, ensuring all athletic teams have the gear, apparel and resources necessary for safe and successful participation in competition and practice.

With a strong commitment to organization, safety and performance, Frigge coordinates the ordering, maintenance and distribution of athletic equipment for men's and women's basketball, women’s soccer and men’s and women’s golf. He also manages equipment inventory, assists with branding compliance and collaborate closely with coaches, athletic trainers and student-athletes to maintain the highest standards of support.

Frigge is a certified AEMA member and stays actively involved in professional development opportunities to ensure the department’s equipment operations remain current and efficient.

A native of Springfield, Ohio, is a 2009 graduate of Cincinnati where he received a bachelor’s degree in communication, as well as a masters degree in 2017 in sports administration.  While in his undergrad, Frigge served as the student manager for the men’s soccer team for four years.

Frigge and his wife, Jamie, have three children: Patrick, Colin and Steven.
