A longtime Bearcat, Bill Frigge started with the University of Cincinnati in 1992.
Having served several roles across campus during his years of service, Frigge currently serves as the Associate AD for Facilities and Technology. He currently oversees several aspects of the many athletics facilities on campus, including the management of the Nippert Stadium Renovation & Expansion and the renovation of Fifth Third Arena.
Originally starting as student assistant in the football video office, Frigge later moved to a full-time position as the Assistant Equipment Manager. Frigge then moved back to CCM as a Broadcast Studio Engineer while also being enrolled in the broadcasting program as a student. He later moved into a role that supported the computer systems of the entire University and promoted to Interim Coordinator of Information Technology in 2000.
He moved back to athletics later that year as the Director of Video Operations supporting new video technology for the department. In 2003, he was charged with the Information Technology responsibilities before later being promoted to the Director of Facilities and Operations, assuming responsibilities for IT as well.
A longtime supporter of UC, Frigge is a member of the University’s McMicken Society, CCM Power, the Alumni Leadership Council and attends several Bearcats athletic events with his family. Professionally, Frigge is a member of the College Event and Facility Management Association.
Frigge has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Broadcasting from the CCM in 1998 and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice form CECH in 2010. Frigge lives in Monfort Heights with his wife, a UC MBA alum and staff member at La Salle High School, and their four children Doug, Audre, Karen and John. Frigge is an Eagle Scout and a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
