Brandon Garcia is in his third season as the Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance in 2025.
Prior to Cincinnati, Garcia spent three seasons at UNLV from 2020-22, where he served as an Assistant Football Strength and Conditioning Coach for the initial season before he was elevated to Associate Director of Football Strength and Conditioning.
With the Rebels, he assisted with all aspects in the development and implementation of the strength and conditioning program, directed the sport science elements of the sports performance department, worked closely with the athletic training staff on the return to play program and directed the intern and graduate assistant staff.
Before UNLV, Garcia worked as a personal trainer based in Knoxville, Tenn. He previously served in a similar role as a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Sport Performance Football Assistant at Maryland in 2018.
He started his career as strength and conditioning intern at his alma mater, West Virginia State, in 2017.
Garcia holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa).
The Riverside, California native earned his bachelor’s degree in sport studies – exercise science from West Virginia State, where he started two seasons on the defensive line from 2015-16 after transferring from Chaffey College.
