University of Cincinnati lacrosse head coach Lellie Swords added Syracuse defender Breanna Stiff to her coaching staff in October, 2010. Stiff was a four-year letterwinner while at Syracuse.

During her sophomore campaign the Orange won a school-record 18 games and advanced to the Final Four for the first time in school history. The 2010 squad finished the season with a 15-9 record and advanced to the Final Four for the second time in three seasons.
As a senior she saw action in every game and made her first start of the season against Colgate, tying her career-high in ground balls (2). She finished her junior year with five groundballs, nine draw controls, and four caused turnovers and was named to the Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll in the spring semester. Her sophomore year she notched her first career goal and set career-high marks against UC, scoring three goals, handing out an assist, and causing three turnovers.
Stiff graduated in the spring of 2010 with a degree in public health. A native of Hampstead, Md., Stiff assists with the 513 Lacrosse organization and the Natilax Elite club team. She handles individual player development, video exchange, fundraising, and assists with recruiting.
