Bridget VanLandeghem
Bridget VanLandeghem joined the University of Cincinnati in January of 2020.  She is an Associate Director for Student Athlete Support Services and the Athletic Academic Counselor for Baseball and Swimming & Diving. Bridget is also in charge of coordinating the ONE TEAM Orientation program for incoming student-athletes. She graduated from the Mental Health Champions program at UC in April 2022.
 
Previously, Bridget worked at The University of Memphis in the Center for Athletic Academic Services from August 2002 to December 2019. She was an Athletic Academic Counselor who advised every team except for Football during her tenure there. Bridget was promoted to Assistant Director in October 2014, where she added the responsibility of supervising the student workers, fulfilling facility supply needs, managing campus reservations, training new staff on academic advising and campus resources, and serving as a liaison between CAAS and campus committees. In addition, she planned and implemented New Student-Athlete Orientation sessions and coordinated textbook distribution between Athletics and the campus bookstore. She also taught ACAD 1100-Academic Strategies for 11 semesters and planned the course syllabus and curriculum for five years.
 
Bridget began her career in athletic academics as the Athletic Academic Coordinator at St. Bonaventure University from August 1999-May 2002. There she monitored the academic progress of fourteen Division I teams, advised SAAC and Student Athlete Mentors, and planned the Academic Honors Banquet and Senior Luncheon.
 
Bridget has been an active member of N4A, the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals, since 2002. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1996 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Kinesiology-Applied Sport Science in 1998 from Indiana University-Bloomington.
