Curtis Fitch joined the Cincinnati football staff as an offensive quality control assistant in Spring 2024.
Fitch's prior experience includes stops at East Carolina, from 2018 to 2019, Louisville from 2020 to 2022 and LSU in 2023 in graduate assistant roles.
With the Cardinals, he worked with record-setting quarterback Malik Cunningham and helped guide the Cardinals to a pair of bowls.
At LSU, he helped sophomore Mason Taylor develop into one of the SEC’s top tight ends as he finished third on the team with 36 catches for 348 yards and one touchdown.
Fitch's playing career (Appalachian State, 2014-17) included tutelage under now-Bearcats head coach Scott Satterfield and quarterbacks coach Pete Thomas. In his final game, he scored on a fourth-down keeper in the closing minutes of a 63-14 win over Louisiana, prompting a storming of the field by his teammates.
He graduated from App State with a degree in business management.
Fitch's father, Todd, is a senior adviser and analyst with LSU Football. He was the interim head coach at Vanderbilt at the end of the 2020 season and previously held offensive coordinator duties with the Commodores, Louisiana Tech, Boston College, South Florida and UConn through his veteran career.
Fitch is a native of Lutz, Fla.
