Dana Parker

Dana Parker transitioned to the UC Department of Athletics in November 2016 from UC Clermont where she led the college in fundraising efforts as their Director of Development since 2013.

Parker was hired as an Assistant Athletic Director for Leadership Gifts where she works to raise funds for capital projects, scholarship endowment and program enhancement. Parker will focus on raising funds for the renovation of Fifth Third Arena, securing support for the Women’s Excellence Fund and helping to build endowments for the Olympic sports.  Additionally, Parker will be a part of an external team helping to build strategy for leadership development in Athletics.

Prior to joining UC, Parker was a special education intervention specialist for 13 years in junior high schools located in Dayton and Cincinnati. She is an active member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Cincinnati Eastside Rotary Club, holding the position of Youth Committee Chairman. In 2009, she co-founded an organization, S3C, to assist families with their daily living needs during their journey with cancer. These efforts earned her Venue’s Magazine Civic Leadership Award and a nomination for Duke Energy Children's Museum's Difference Makers Award.

Parker earned her Bachelors in Education from Bowling Green State University in 2000 and a Masters in the Art of Education from Marygrove College in 2004. 

She currently resides in West Chester with husband, Darnell, and two children Alexis and Madison.
