David Cohen
David Cohen joined the University of Cincinnati as a Director of Strategic Brand Engagement in June 2021. His role includes communications oversight of the men's basketball and men's golf programs. He has previously worked with lacrosse, soccer and women's golf at UC in addition to serving on several internal committees for planning and candidate interviews.

Cohen previously served five years as the Director of Communications at Southern Miss. While in Hattiesburg, he was the primary contact for the men's basketball program in addition to several other sports, including secondary with football, throughout his tenure. He also held chief oversight of the athletics department's main social media channels and various facets of the website.

Prior to his time with the Golden Eagles, Cohen served as a media relations assistant at ULM for one year, serving as the primary contact for women's basketball and tennis, in addition to secondary roles in football and baseball.

Cohen graduated from TCU in 2015, earning his bachelor's degree in strategic communication with a minor in history. He also worked all four years as an intern in its athletics communications office. He later earned his master's in sport management from Southern Miss in 2019. Cohen also worked as a training camp intern with the Carolina Panthers from 2012-13, as well as with the Texas Rangers for the entire 2014 season. He also served on a CoSIDA convention panel in 2019 for work-life balance.

Cohen and his wife, the former Orly Biton, are the proud parents of a son, Eli, born in April 2025.
