Elijah Van Dyke joined the University of Cincinnati in August 2026 as the Coordinator for Student-Athlete Development & Letterwinner Engagement. In his role, Van Dyke creates leadership, personal development, community impact, and career exploration programming for The Academy. He also coordinates community impact, Letterwinner, and special event initiatives while managing student-athlete and alumni data, reporting, branding, social media, and storytelling. Additionally, he collaborates with coaches, staff, alumni, and community partners to promote student-athlete development and welfare.
A native of Wheaton, Illinois, Van Dyke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a concentration in Sports Business from Arizona State University, along with a minor in Special Events Management and a certificate in Small Business & Entrepreneurship. He later earned a Master of Science in Sport Business from Temple University.
Before joining Cincinnati, Van Dyke built extensive experience in student-athlete development and academic support. At Troy University, he served as an Academic Advisor/Life Skills Coordinator, advising 85 football and track & field/cross country student-athletes on academic planning, eligibility, degree progression, and personal development. At Baylor University, he served as an Assistant Character Formation Coordinator, co-leading an eight-week leadership program and facilitating career development programming. He previously served as a Student-Athlete Development Assistant at Temple University, where he supported student-athlete development, SAAC, and community engagement initiatives.
Van Dyke also gained professional experience with the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Coyotes, working in ticket and fan services, marketing, ticket sales, community impact, premium sales, and event operations.
He is a two-year member of NACDA (N4A) and has participated in NCAA leadership development programs, including Emerging Leaders in 2025 and the Effective Facilitation Workshop in 2026. He also holds a Mental Health First Aid Certificate.
Outside of work, Van Dyke enjoys playing video games, collecting shoes, and following sports podcasts.
