Eric Szczepinski was named Senior Director of Football Communications at Cincinnati in July 2026. In his role, Szczepinski oversees all public relations, media relations, and strategic communications efforts for the Bearcats football program.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Szczepinski brings extensive communications experience across both collegiate athletics and the NFL to Clifton.
Prior to joining the Bearcats, Szczepinski spent four seasons (2022-25) with Army West Point, including three years as Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications. During his time with the Black Knights, he served as the primary communications contact for the football program while directing overarching media strategy and publicity for the entire athletic department.
Szczepinski also spent four years in the National Football League, holding communications roles with the Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers. His NFL credentials include assisting league communications efforts on-site for Super Bowl LIII and Super Bowl LIV.
A 2018 graduate of Walsh University, Szczepinski resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Melisa, and their daughter, Emilia.
