Hunter Fava has been a member of the Cincinnati athletics department since 2015 and was promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations in 2021.
Fava is a member of the department’s executive team and oversees the athletics business office. He is responsible for managing the athletics department budget, operational planning and long-term financial viability of the athletic department.
Prior to coming to the University of Cincinnati, Fava worked as a senior corporate tax accountant in Charlotte, North Carolina, for Grant Thornton. He is a member of the College Athletic Business Management Association and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
He graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting. Fava also earned a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Science with a Sports Administration Emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado.
