J. Locklier
J.Locklier joined the UC Athletic Department in December of 2014.

Locklier currently works as Assistant Athletic Director for Leadership Gifts where he manages a leadership gift team working to raise funds for capital projects, scholarship endowment and program enhancement. Locklier focuses on raising funds for the Nippert Stadium renovation and expansion, Nippert Stadium premium seating, the men’s basketball locker room renovation and the renovation of Fifth Third Arena.

Locklier was a basketball student-athlete at Miami (OH) and Washington State University. At Miami OH he was a member of the 1999 NCAA Sweet 16 and MAC conference championship team. At Washington State he was 2001 Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year and a 2002 Pac-10 First Team All-Academic selection. After three seasons of professional basketball, Locklier began his career in athletic development in the Duke Club at James Madison University in 2005. Serving as Associate Director of the Duke Club, Locklier was part of the first Duke Club team to surpass $1 million in unrestricted support. In 2007, Locklier joined the Mountaineer Athletic Club at West Virginia University as Senior Director of Development. Working primarily with major gifts, Locklier was part of a team that raised over $16 million for football program enhancements at Milan Puskar Stadium as well as over $20 million for a basketball practice facility. In 2011, Locklier joined Butler University as a Major Gift Officer for Athletics. While at Butler, Locklier raised funds for athletic scholarship, program enhancement, and the $36 million renovation of historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. Locklier is a member of both NAADD and CASE.

Locklier earned a B.A. in Business Management from Washington State University in 2001. In 2005, he earned a M.Ed. in Higher Education/Athletic Administration from Washington State University. In 2014, Locklier completed a MBA in Leadership from Butler University. Locklier resides in Northern KY with his wife Olivia.
