Jada Harris joined the University of Cincinnati in August 2026 as the Coordinator for Student-Athlete Development and Letterwinner Engagement. In her role, Harris creates leadership, personal development, community impact, and career exploration programming for The Academy. She also coordinates community impact, Letterwinner, and special event initiatives while managing student-athlete and alumni data, reporting, branding, social media, and storytelling. Harris collaborates with coaches, staff, alumni, and community partners to promote student-athlete development and welfare.
A Cincinnati native, Harris earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Leadership and Management from Miami University in 2023. She went on to earn a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Sport Administration from Ohio University.
Harris began her career in sports at Miami University, where she interned with the Cincinnati Open in ticketing operations and ticket consulting. At Ohio University, she served as a Graduate Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Sport Administration before becoming an Assistant Coordinator for Student-Athlete Development with OHIO Athletics, where she coordinated career readiness, financial literacy, and leadership programming. She also served as a 1-MAC Intern with the Mid-American Conference, gaining experience with conference governance and mentorship from athletics leaders.
In September 2025, Harris joined Nebraska Athletics as a McLendon Fellow and Coordinator for Athletic Initiatives, supporting Life Skills, Community Engagement, the Husker Athletic Fund, Marketing and Fan Experience, and department-wide initiatives. She also gained experience with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, supporting athlete-facing events, media and fan engagement, autograph sessions, and partnership activations.
Harris is a member of the McLendon Leadership Initiative and holds certifications in NIL and Business Analytics, along with additional professional education in entrepreneurship and a miniMBA.
Outside of work, Harris enjoys hiking, working out, listening to podcasts, and reading.
