TicketsJake Warnke joined The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics in July 2017 as the assistant director for football equipment.
Warnke spent the previous two seasons at Tulsa as the Director of Athletic Equipment. While with the Golden Hurricane, Warnke oversaw the equipment needs for the entire department while also managing the equipment operation for the football team.
Warnke came to Tulsa from Miami (Ohio) University, where he served for over four years, since September 2011, as the athletic equipment manager. He assisted with all aspects of apparel and equipment for the Redhawks football team.
During his tenure at Miami, Warnke’s main responsibility was for the day-to-day operations of athletic equipment and apparel needs for the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball and men’s & women’s track and cross-country.
Before that, Warnke was the assistant equipment manager at Bowling Green State University. He began as a student equipment manager and later was appointed to an assistant’s position. At BGSU, he worked with football, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, gymnastics and men’s and women’s soccer.
Warnke earned his bachelor’s degree in 2008 from BGSU in Education with a sports management major and specialization in sports enterprise.
