Jeff Vedder

Biography

Jeff Vedder serves as the Assistant AD/Business Affairs. Vedder's primary responsibilities include management of budgets for Men’s Basketball, Tennis, and the Athletics Ticket Office. In addition, Vedder provides support to the NCAA audit, financial reporting, data management and endowments.

Prior to joining the Athletics Business Office, Vedder served as the Assistant AD/Ticket Operations and Business Intelligence from 2019 to 2021. In this role, Vedder oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Ticket Office. His duties included managing the operations and sales staff, oversight of all gameday ticket operations and data reporting.

Vedder joined The University of Cincinnati in February 2014 as the Development Coordinator for Leadership Gifts where he led the management and implementation of the Director's Society/George Smith Society and all associated events and activities, as well as donor stewardship. In 2016, Vedder was promoted to the Director/Annual Giving in UCATS. In this role, he was responsible for oversight of the Annual Fund and solicitations. Vedder also worked to cultivate and solicit gifts for UC’s fundraising efforts on the $87-million renovation to Fifth Third Arena.

Prior to coming the Cincinnati, Vedder spent two years in the Ohio Bobcat Club at Ohio University. At Ohio, Vedder managed sales and renewals for premium football and basketball seats, coordinated donor visits and managed courtside seating for basketball, among other duties.

While working for Ohio, Vedder earned a Master's of Sports Administration and a Master's of Business Administration. He previously earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Logistics from Ohio State University in 2010.

Vedder resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Sarah, and their son, Joey.
