Jessica Wright joined the Cincinnati cross-country/track and field program in September of 2023 as the program’s director of operations.
Wright comes to Cincinnati after spending almost two years at Cal State Fullerton. She started as a volunteer coach in January of 2022 and was promoted to Director of Operations in December of the same year.
She attended West Virginia University and obtained a master's degree in Sports Coaching in 2022, where she also was involved with the track and field team as an assistant coach.
During her undergrad, she earned a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Stevenson University in 2019. While at Stevenson, she was part of the track and field as a middle-distance runner competing in the 400m, 800m, and 4x400m.
Wright is a native of Long Island, N.Y., where her parents Christopher and Christine, and older sister Kimberly all still live.
