He currently serves as an account executive managing corporate sponsorship sales, promotions and activation around UC Athletics. Sponsorship elements include digital, stadium and arena signage, IP rights, hospitality and experiential marketing. Weirich works with local businesses to integrate UC athletics into their sales, marketing and advertising initiatives.
Weirich previously held sales and marketing roles at m2 marketing and Romig Sports Consulting. He is also an active board member of the 2nd & 7 Foundation, a nonprofit organization co-founded by UC Head Football Coach Luke Fickell.
Weirich graduated from the Ohio State in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications.
A native of Dalton, Ohio, Weirich, his wife Erin and daughters Peyton & Eliet live in the Kenwood area.
