Lionel Jackson

The University of Cincinnati Athletic Department is excited to announce the appointment of Lionel Jackson as Director, Corporate Partnerships, effective April 2025. 

In this role, Jackson will oversee key strategic initiatives and drive growth across various areas of the department, utilizing his extensive experience in business development, leadership, and partnership management.

Jackson brings a wealth of experience from the medical device and dental industries, having worked with top-tier medical device companies where he played a key role in managing sales teams, optimizing business strategies, and expanding market presence. His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving organizational success and building strong client relationships.

In addition to his successful business career, Jackson’s athletic career at the University of Cincinnati laid the foundation for his leadership and teamwork skills. As a member of the UC soccer team, he helped the program achieve its first-ever Big East Championship during the 2006 season, a landmark achievement in the history of the program. His contributions on the field earned him the team’s Most Improved Player award that year.

Jackson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and completed an Executive Leadership Program with McKinsey & Company in 2024. A native of Detroit, Mich., he resides in the city with his three children, Etellina, Fabrizia, and Giuseppe.
