Masy Folcik

Folcik enterns her first year with the Bearcats staff joining in June 2026.

Before arriving at Cincinnati, Folcik served as a volunteer assistant coach at Aquinas College, where she worked closely with student-athletes across all strokes while specializing in breaststroke development. In this role, she assisted with training design, stroke technique, and athlete development, helping swimmers improve both technically and competitively.

In addition to her coaching experience, she has a strong background in health, wellness, and fitness, with experience promoting overall athlete performance through strength training, recovery, and wellness education. Her passion for fitness and holistic athlete development has shaped her coaching philosophy both in and out of the pool.

Folcik graduated from Purdue University in 2025 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology.

As a student-athlete at Purdue University, Folcik competed at the Division I level and qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials twice during her swimming career. She scored at the Big Ten Championships in all five years of her collegiate career and currently ranks fourth in Purdue program history in the 100 breaststroke and sixth all-time in the 200 breaststroke.
