Mike Stacchiotti came to the University of Cincinnati in January 2017 as the associate director of football sports performance.
Stacchiotti joined the Bearcats staff after two seasons at Colorado State as a graduate assistant on the football strength and conditioning staff. During his time in Fort Collins, the Rams played in two-straight bowl games.
He started is coaching career as a strength and conditioning intern at Mississippi State during the 2014-15 school year.
Stacchiotti was a three-year letterwinner and a team captain as a middle linebacker and fullback at Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. He finished his career with 120 tackles, including a team-high 72 as a junior in 2012.
Stacchiotti earned his bachelor’s degree from the school in exercise science in 2014 and a master’s in adult education from Colorado State in 2016.
A native of Girard, Ohio, Stacchiotti was a four-year football letterwinner as a middle linebacker at Girard High School. As a senior, he was named to the All-American Conference team, the All-Northeast Ohio team and the All-Ohio team as he helped lead his team to the first undefeated regular season in school history. Stacchiotti was the County Defensive Co-Captain and a McDonald’s McScholar Athlete. His father, Jim, played football at Syracuse.
