Molly Metress joined the University of Cincinnati’s staff as Director, Communications & Strategic Brand Engagement in July 2022.
She is the primary communications contact for women’s basketball. She previously served as the contact for baseball in 2023 and was the volleyball contact for three seasons from 2022 to 2024. She also oversees the department’s communications interns.
Prior to UC, she worked for George Mason University from 2018-22, starting as an athletic communications assistant before moving into the role as assistant director of athletic communications. She was the primary communications contact for women's basketball, women's volleyball and track and field/cross country. She also worked with the men's volleyball and softball programs during her tenure.
She is a 2018 graduate of the University of Dayton, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management with minors in business administration and Spanish.
While at Dayton, she spent two years in the athletic communications office where she worked three NCAA First Four Tournaments.
