Niki Cianciola

A member of the University of Cincinnati staff since 2004, Cianciola was promoted in July 2016 to Director of Sports Services. She serves as the housing coordinator for all Olympic Sports, as well as a co-chair for the Department of Athletics Financial Literacy Program, assisting students with all aspects of their athletic scholarship, financial aid, and FAFSA. In addition, Cianciola serves as the co-chair of the Department of Athletics One Team Diversity & Inclusion Committee, as well as a member of the UC Diversity & Inclusion Resource Liaison.

Cianciola is a UC Wellness Ambassador and was recently selected to the UC Faculty & Staff Mental Health Champion program, a newly created program to enhance the culture of mental health on UC’s campus and to provide an environment that encourages mental wellness. 

Additionally, Cianciola assists with the Professional Sports Council Panel and is a member of UCAAMP (UC Association of Administrators, Managers, and Professionals), as well as a member of NACWAA (National Association of Collegiate Women’s Athletics Administrators).

Prior to joining the Bearcats staff, Cianciola worked as an assistant to the Athletic Director at Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cianciola joined the UC staff as an administrative assistant in the UCATS Development office and Men's and Women’s Basketball offices.

Cianciola earned her Bachelors of Arts in Kinesiology (Sports Management and Communications) from the University of Michigan, before graduating summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Masters of Social Work in 2013, a Masters of Health Education (Public and Community Health) in 2014, and a Masters of Education (Behavior Analysis) in 2018.
