TicketsPaeton Hayes came to Cincinnati as an assistant football equipment manager in June 2025.
Her responsibilities include assisting in the issue and maintenance of football equipment such as helmets, uniforms, and cleats, as well as packing all team gear for away trips, setting up the sideline and locker room for home games, ensuring practice is ran smoothly and making sure inventory is accounted for.
A South Haven, Mich. native, Hayes comes to UC from Western Michigan, where she worked in a similar role.
Hayes graduated from Michigan State in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. While in East Lansing, she was a student manager with the Spartans' football program for three seasons. Hayes has also interned with the Detroit Lions and Indiana football program, becoming the first-ever female equipment intern for the Lions in 2023.
