TicketsRebecca Michael joined the University of Cincinnati staff in September 2019 as Coordinator, Facilities & Operations and currently serves as the Director of Events. She oversees and coordinates operations for home events for women’s volleyball and baseball and assists with football, men’s basketball and various outside events.
Michael started at UC as a facilities and operations graduate assistant from 2017-18. She then spent time with the Cincinnati volleyball staff as the director of operations for the 2018 season.
She was hired full-time as Coordinator, Facilities & Operations in September 2019. In July 2022, she was promoted to Associate Director of Facilities & Operations, and in April of 2023, was promoted to Director of Events.
Michael began her career as a facilities and operations student intern with Kent State University Athletics from 2015-17.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Michael graduated from Kent State University in 2017, earning her bachelor’s degree in sports administration. She earned her master's degree in sports administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. She is a member of Women’s Leaders in College Sports and CEFMA.
