Robb Williams

Williams begins his fourth year working in the UC Sports Medicine Department in 2017-18.

Williams' experience spans 39 years in sports medicine. He has served as the head athletic trainer at Liberty, Villanova and Wyoming. He has worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates and also has worked for the Justin® sports medicine program in professional rodeo for 30 years. In addition, Williams works as an injury spotter for the NFL and has served as a drug tester for professional sports.

Williams has been awarded the 25 year service award, athletic trainer service award and the most distinguished athletic trainer award, all from NATA. While at Villanova, he was the athletic department employee of the year in 1998-99.

A Cincinnati native, growing up on the west side, Williams is a 1978 graduate of Oak Hills High School and earned a B.S from the Ohio State University in 1982 and a M.S. from the University of Cincinnati in 1984.
