Robo Williams
Robo Williams is in his third season as an Assistant Football Sports Performance Coach, having joined the Bearcats in 2023.
 
Williams previously served as an Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance at Duke in 2022, where he oversaw the implementation of force plate testing and reporting into the football program.
 
Prior to a stop at Durham, he was at Army during the 2021 season as an assistant strength coach for the football team, where he was the leader of the return to play program. He also helped with the coordination of the speed and agility conditioning for skill players.
 
Williams was a strength and conditioning part-time assistant at Toledo at the beginning of 2021 before making the move to the Army. While with the Rockets, he assisted with the coordination and implementation of the strength and conditioning program and monitored student-athlete nutrition, worked closely with the athletic training staff.
 
In 2020, he made his first stop at Cincinnati as he interned with the strength and condition of football staff after beginning his college athletics career interning at Robert Morris in 2019.
 
Prior to working in college athletics, Williams worked in the field of physical therapy before making the switch to strength and conditioning.
 
Williams holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
 
A Cincinnati native, he earned his master's degree in exercise science from Ohio Dominican in 2015 and earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology and health at Miami (OH) in 2014.
