TicketsSonny Rinala returns to the Bearcat program for the 2004-05 season as an assistant coach where he will focus his efforts on the development of the UC men[apos]s program. He joined hte UC staff in time for the spring portion of last season[apos]s schedule.
Rinala brings a surplus of playing and teaching experience to the UC program. He has served as an assistant golf pro and instructor at Etter[apos]s Custom Golf Center in Reading since 1999. He has also worked at various golf courses and centers throughout southwest Ohio and one in Florida for the last 20 years.
In addition to playing three years of golf at UC, Rinala also spent a season as a member of the University of Dayton[apos]s team. He has continued to play competitively and was ranked in the top-10 in the Southern Ohio PGA section in 2002 and 2004. Rinala also played on numerous mini-tours across the country from 1996-98.
