TicketsSteven Johnson joined the University of Cincinnati Athletics staff as Director of Football Technology in August 2024. In his role, he supports the football program’s video and technology operations.
Prior to Cincinnati, Johnson spent two years as the Director of Football Video Services at the University of North Texas, where he oversaw student assistants and staff while managing the daily video and technology needs of the football program. He previously served as Director of Football Video Operations at the University of Louisiana Monroe and helped oversee the program’s transition from DVSport to Catapult.
Johnson began his collegiate football video career as a student assistant at SMU from 2015-18 before serving as a graduate assistant for football coaches video at Mississippi State from 2018-20. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Sport Management from SMU in 2018 and his master’s degree in Sports Administration from Mississippi State in 2020.
