Trevor Towle is in his third year as Associate Athletics Director and Executive Producer for Broadcasting and Production at the University of Cincinnati. Hired in January 2023 to create UC’s dedicated broadcasting unit, he has built the team to six full-time staff members who deliver more than 100 ESPN+ broadcasts and 50 in-venue big board shows each year. Towle also oversees two production control rooms on campus and leads a partnership with UC’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), providing students valuable hands-on experience producing major live events.

A native of Kettering, Ohio, Towle brings two decades of national broadcast leadership to Cincinnati. Prior to UC, he spent nearly 20 years with ESPN, most recently as Senior Managing Producer for the SEC Network, ACC Network, American, and Big 12. In that role, he mentored production teams at more than 45 schools nationwide, helping universities design control room facilities, train staff, and meet ESPN’s linear broadcast standards.

Towle began his career with ESPN in 2005 on the NHRA Drag Racing circuit, where he worked for nine years, before shifting to college sports production. He played a key role in the launch of the SEC Network and the pioneering SEC school control room project.

In 2004, he produced the documentary "The Last American Roadhouse" which covered the music scene and the aftermath from Hurricane Ivan at the Florabama in Perdido Key, Florida.

Towle is a native of Bellbrook, Ohio and a 2001 graduate of Ohio University where he earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications.

He and his wife, Sue, have two daughters – Dylan and Jordan.
