Hey there everyone! I know I haven't written in an EXTREMELY long time. I apologize. Anyways we are back to the grind of work outs for volleyball. We lift at 7:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and then we run at 6 am on Tuesday and Thursday. It requires a lot of waking up early, but oh well I kind of secretly like the work outs (don't tell anyone!). It sucks waking up really early but it is also nice to be done for the day. For example, since I only have one class on MWF I am completely done with my day by 11, although we are starting open gyms this week so that will occupy my time a little bit. My knee is doing great! I am running, jumping, shuffling, passing, etc. The only thing I'm not quite allowed to do yet is dive on the ground, but that will come later. I am so ready to be back on the court and it feels great to be playing!
Alright, alright enough about the volleyball stuff we need to discuss the really important matter now. THE COLTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL. I am may be the happiest girl in the entire world. The game this past Sunday was absolutely AMAZING! Anyone that did not watch it missed out big time. It is definitely our time! I got a Colts jersey for Christmas and I have been wearing it everywhere! I actually got a Mike Doss #20 jersey because everyone calls me Doss and it just so happens he tore his ACL just like I did only a few weeks after me. So anyways that jersey is good luck and I am such a proud Colts fan that I am having trouble taking it off! I haven't written for ages and for that I apologize. After losing conference tournament I just could not do it and then Christmas came and I forgot all about it. So, hopefully now I will get back on track and write every week!
Doss, Laurie, and I went up to Toronto for the International Bowl which was a ton of fun. It was a quick trip, driving up Friday and coming back Saturday after the game but it was well worth it. We had a lot of fun. Toronto is a great city and winning the football game made it a perfect weekend.
Since then it has been nothing but school. We've only been in school for a couple weeks and yet it feels like much longer. It seems so strange having class but not having to do any volleyball stuff. Noel and I were talking about how much we miss playing but we don't miss the 6 am workouts! Today was the team's first one and we got to sleep right through it, truly a wonderful feeling!
