The eve of the game saw the Bearcats attend a team even at Dave & Busters, followed by a walk though at a local high school. Selected players also visited Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. Click here to check out photos from the visit.
There's only one thing left to do...
Tuesday on the islands marked the final full practice of the year for the Bearcats at Aloha Stadium. The team will stage a walk-through on Wednesday before Thursday's match-up with San Diego State. Coach Tuberville provided an update from the stadium available here.
Following practice, the team made the short bus ride from the stadium to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, home to both the United States Navy and United States Air Force on Oahu. The base is also home to the USS Arizona Memorial, which the team had the opportunity to visit and pay its respects to those lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Click here for footage from the visit, and thoughts from Coach Tuberville, Parker Ehinger and Silverberry Mouhon.
The day concluded with a beach barbecue on Waikiki Beach.

Things are starting to ramp up in Hawai'i. The day opened with Coach Tuberville, along with Shaq Washington and Zach Edwards, meeting the media at the bowl press conference. You'll never see a press conference setting quite like in Hawai'i, with the coaches and players from both teams situated on Waikiki Beach. Video with thoughts from Coach Tuberville, the players, and San Diego State head coach Rocky Long can be seen in the above player, or click here.
Speaking of video, both the Bearcats and Aztecs were treated to a traditional Hawaiian luau. BearcatsTV followed along with junior Sione Tongamoa and you won't want to miss that clip.
In addition to video, GoBearcats.com columnist Bill Koch checks in with thoughts from senior Adrian Witty. The cornerback, who suffered a broken leg in the Miami (Ohio) game, hopes to make one final appearance in a UC uniform on Thursday in the bowl game. Click here to read the story.
