COLDSTREAM COUNTRY CLUB

Coldstream Country Club is one of Cincinnati’s premier private clubs, situated on 190 idyllic acres, featuring an elite, championship 18-hole golf course. It has hosted numerous Ohio amateur and open championships as well as USGA qualifiers. It annually host the Bearcat Invitational, UC's home men's golf tournament, every September. 

PRACTICE FACILITY AT COLDSTREAM COUNTRY CLUB

The privately funded project completed in Spring 2018 features a 2,300-square-foot short game area with two greens for chipping and pitching along with three bunkers; a 15,000-square foot wedge area includes a tee with three target greens, allowing the Bearcats to hit shots from 40-90 yards; and a new driving tee with target greens spread through the range. 

GOLF SIMULATOR AT ON-CAMPUS INDOOR PRACTICE AREA

The University of Cincinnati golf programs enjoy the use of a virtual golf simulator as a practice and training tool for their student-athletes. The simulator is an aboutGolf Indoor Golf Simulator, based out of Toledo, Ohio, and is endorsed by the PGA Tour. This state-of-the-art, technologically advanced simulator reads out balance points in the user’s feet so that it becomes a great teaching tool. It allows the Bearcats to do everything from driving, to full-swing shots, chipping, short-game shots, and putting to simulate play on the course. The unit is located on the UC campus in the Lindner Athletics Center. 


 

TRADITIONS GOLF CLUB

Along with Coldstream Country Club, the UC men's golf team practices at Traditions Golf Club located across the Ohio River in Kentucky. Since its opening in 1991, Traditions has consistently been recognized as one of the premier places to play in the Greater Cincinnati Area, frequently tabbed by Golf Digest as one of the top-10 courses in all of Kentucky. It's also been home to many prestigious amateur events such as the Kentucky Amateur, the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Metro Championship, numerous USGA qualifiers and the Kentucky Open.
