BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Junior Jasmine Cotten notched an individual win in the long jump and recorded two of the University of Cincinnati indoor track and field's five top-five finishes at the Indiana open Saturday at Gladstein Fieldhouse.

Cotten recorded a mark of 6.02 meters in the women's long jump, besting the next best finisher by 0.6 meters. Cotten also recorded a fifth-place showing in the 60-meter hurdles, registering a time of 8.76 seconds.

Sophomore Kaylon Eppinger and junior Ashley Arnold both notched third-place showings in the 60-meter hurdles and 400 meters, respectively. Eppinger crossed the line in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.64 seconds, besting her preliminary time by seven-tenths of a second. Arnold finished the 400 meters with a third-place time of 56.11.

Sophomore Natasha Burse rounded out the top-five finishers for UC after running a time of 7.77 in the 60-meter dash.

UC returns to the track on Saturday, Jan. 17, when it travels to Bowling Green State University to compete in the BGSU Challenge.
