STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - In day two of the Penn State National, the University of Cincinnati indoor track and field team had several solid performances, including a first-place showing by junior Kayla Dunn in the pole vault. Dunn cleared 12' 00", a personal best, to take first place honors, while sophomore Michelle Eby finished in sixth (11' 00 1/4").

In the invitational pole vault event, freshman Mackenzie Fields cleared 12' 00" to finish in 10th place. Fields was one of 19 competitors in the event, and finished second among five BIG EAST competitors.

In section two of the 400 meters, junior Ashley Arnold ran a time of 55.61, which was tops in the heat. Among the six heats completed, Arnold ran the third fastest time of 28 competitors.

In the 200 meters, sophomore Natasha Burse sprinted to a personal-best time of 24.75, the top time in section two of seven. Out of the 31 runners in the event, Burse's time ranked fourth and the second best time out of the 10 sophomores that competed.

In other field events, freshman Camai Brandenberg and sophomore Kaylon Eppinger recorded marks of 5' 04 1/4" and 5' 02 1/4", respectively, to finish in a tie for 10th and a tie for 20th in the high jump. Additionally, senior Lisa Klotz threw 41' 03" in the shot put, finishing in 24th place.

The team of freshman Aricka Rhodes, Burse, senior Courtney Wicks, Arnold competed in the 4x400 and recorded a 10th-place time of 3:48.96.

Cincinnati heads down to Lexington, Ky. to compete at the Rod McCravy Invitational Feb. 6-7.
