CINCINNATI - Former University of Cincinnati baseball player Cameron Satterwhite recently had his contract with the Frontier League's Evansville Otters bought out by the Cincinnati Reds as Satterwhite looks to begin his career with the Reds organization next season.

In 34 games with the Otters, Satterwhite hit .315 with seven doubles and 15 RBI.

Satterwhite finished his career ranking in the Top 10 in the UC record books in doubles (T-5th, 52), home runs (7th, 32), RBI (T-10th, 133), total bases (10th, 330), and sacrifice flies (T-6th, 10). During his junior campaign, Satterwhite was a 2008 ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast Region selection and a third-team all-BIG EAST honoree after hitting .364 with 14 home runs and 61 RBI.
