Gloor Sinks Hole-in-One at Old Waverly

DAY TWO RESULTS

CINCINNATI
- Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) recorded the first hole-in-one of her career during the second round of the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational Tuesday afternoon.



// SCORING TEAM
UC dropped 16 strokes off their first-round score during Tuesday's action thanks to three members of the scoring team recording scores of 75 or better.

The highlight of the day came when Gloor sank a hole-in-one on the par-3 seventh hole. The freshman is one of just three players in the field with an Eagle during the tournament.



Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks) turned in a season-low round of 73 while Valentina Herrera's (Bogota, Colombia) 75 is also a low round for the fall.



// SCORES AND STANDINGS
Despite the improvement in scoring, the Bearcats were unable to move up the leaderboard and sit tied for 13th place. Mississippi State is leading the field by 22 strokes with a score of 285-277=562. Memphis is second at eight-over-par while USF is third at 10-over-par.

"We had a better day today, but we still have a long way to go," stated head women's golf coach Janet Carl. "It was good to see some of the lower scores today and we were all excited for Christina's hole in one."
