UC Records Lowest Round of the Season

CINCINNATI -
The University of Cincinnati women's golf team recorded their lowest round of the season during Monday's action at the 37th Annual FIU Pat Bradley. The Bearcats recorded a 12-over-par score of 300 during the second round, besting their previous season-low by two strokes.

// SCORING TEAM
The Bearcats were aided by Stefanie Mitchell's (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview) season-low round of even-par 72. The junior is 21st after the first two rounds with a score of 78-72=150. Freshman Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) is just one stroke behind, carding a one-over-par 73 during Monday's action.

Despite the 12-stroke improvement, the Bearcats were unable to make up any ground in the team standings, remaining in eighth place. UC is just five strokes

"Today was our best competitive round of the season," noted Carl. "I'm happy with the results but we still threw away a couple shots in the last six holes. We have one more round for the fall and the chance to end on a strong note."

After the second round, Memphis (584) leads by five shots, with FIU (589) second and Daytona (590) third.

The third round of the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational will take place Tuesday.
