CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team dropped a 96-31 decision to No. 2 UConn on Sunday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena. The loss dropped the Bearcats to 5-14 and 2-6 in the American Athletic Conference, while the Huskies improved to 18-1 and 8-0 in the league.

The nation's second ranked team showed it early, jumping out to a 22-0 lead before defeating Cincinnati, 96-31. The Huskies shot 56 percent for the contest and 53 percent from beyond the arc in the victory.
