Bearcats Hold Steady at Clover Cup

MESA, Ariz. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team remained ninth after the second day of action at the Clover Cup hosted by Notre Dame in Mesa, Arizona. The Bearcats dropped eight strokes off their first round score, shooting 305 during the second 18-holes, but were unable to move up the leaderboard.

// THE FIELD
Arizona State is leading the pack after identical rounds of 295 to sit at 14-over-par (590). Notre Dame is second at 296-301=597 (+21). Oklahoma is six strokes back at 297-306=603 while SMU (308-302=610) and TCU (310-301=611) round out the top five teams.

// BEARCATS IN THE FIELD
Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville)continues to lead UC at the event, shooting a 75 during the second round, following her 74 during the first day. She is tied for 11th place witha score of 149. Valentina Herrera (Bogotá, Colombia) rebounded from her first-round score of 83 to shoot a 75 on the second day. Stefanie Mitchell (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview) has been steady with rounds of 76 and 78 to sit tied for 28th with a score of 154.
