// COACH CARL ON THE BEARCATS
"I'm really proud of the team and its effort today with it being our first day back competing since Nov. 1," said head coach Janet Carl. "It was a 36-hole day which meant the players' focus needed to be great for nine hours. I couldn't be more proud of them and the effort they gave today. They fought through all 36 holes, evidenced by birdies being made on their last holes."

"There is a lot of golf left to play, though. If the players can put together the same effort as today, it will be a victory for them, regardless of where we finish. Coach Brad Smith and I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring."
